Cultural Oblation in Iran

Oblation (Nazr in Persian: a solemn promise to do an act of charity in exchange for a divine favor) is a fine and ancient Iranian tradition. Nowadays, our society needs to take a different look at the oblation in cultural terms. For instance, we should not forget to do cultural oblation in the deprived regions of the country where the books are not available or hardly available since there are neither libraries, shops for cultural products nor a small library even in a mosque. Iran’s Book House Institute has fulfilled its promise, what about you?
