Japanese translation of the Holy Quran unveiled

IBNA- Unveiling the Japanese translation of the Holy Quran, Deputy of Quranic and religious studies at the Ministry of Culture Hojat ul-Eslam Heshmati, announced the plan for translation of the Holy Quran into 22 languages.

correspondent, quoting from the public relation office of Iran's State Endowment and Charity Affairs Organization that the Japanese translation of the Holy Quran was unveiled in a ceremony yesterday evening, attended by Hojatoleslam Mohammad Reza Heshmati, Deputy of Quranic and religious at the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance

At this ceremony, Hojat ul-Eslam Ali Mohammadi congratulated the occasion of Fajr Days and said: “All we gained in this revolution is blessed with the actions of Imam Khomeini and the martyrs.”
He suggested: “Imam Khomeini started the movement in accordance with the Quranic verses and followed it aiming at strengthening the position of this Divine Book.”
“The main goal of the revolution is strengthening the position of the Holy Quran and its practical aspects. We can export the Quran to other countries through its translation into other languages. The Holy Quran has been translated into 7 languages of the world so far, and this is one of the honors of the revolution,” Ali Mohammadi added.
