Bologna Book Fair’s director officially invited to Iran

IBNA- The 52nd Bologna International Children Book Fair was held in Bologna from 30th March to 2nd April 2015 as Iran's Cultural Fairs Institute actively attended this event with 300 books on various subjects.
According to IBNA
correspondent quoting from the Public Relations Office of Iran's Cultural Fairs Institute
that 32 sq. m, twice as large as the previous year, were allotted to Iran stand in the exhibition. Several activities were carried out during the four-day exhibition, in the Iran stand, including the introduction of over 120 Iranian illustrators in the form of books and CDs.
Moreover, above 200 children’s book titles through catalogs in English, and Tehran International Book Fair
in catalogs and CDs were introduced for inviting foreign publishers to attend the 28th
International Book Fair in Tehran.
Meeting on the potential of the Iranian children’s literature in the international scale at Bologna Book Fair
A meeting on the potential of Iran children’s literature in the international arena was held on Tuesday March 31 at the authors’ café in Bologna Fair.
In this meeting, Ms. Haeri Yazdi, director of Kia Literary Agency from Iran, Mr. Qaderi (PhD), expert on children’s literature from Italy, Professor Maurizio Silvio Pistoso from the Institute of Persian Language in the University of Bologna, Ms. Jeanne Dalgaard, Danish publisher of the Iranian works delivered their speeches, and the potentials of Iran children’s literature in the international arena were discussed. This program was recorded in the official calendar of the Fair.
