Conference on Sa’di and Confucius due in China

IBNA- A two-day conference on two legendary Asian thinkers and poets, Iranian Sa’di and Chinese Confucius will be held at China’s Northwest University on January 8 and 9.
According to IBNA correspondent quoting from Tehran’s Book City Institute, this event has been organized the Cultural Center of the Book City, the Center for Sa`adi Studies, Cultural Center of Iran in China, and China’s Northwest University  
The conference of Sa`adi and Confucius will be attended by Iranian experts Zia Movahhed, Abol-Qasem Esmae’ilpur, Mahdi Mohabati and Ali Asqar Mohammad-Khani. As well as the Iranians, ten Chinese experts will deliver lecture on the life and ideas of these two thinkers.
Sa`adi and Confucius are two philosopher poets from Iran and China, and the people of both countries are familiar with their works. Their poems show the similarity between their views with regard to human society based on the shared feeling of love for human beings.
Earlier this conference was held at the Cultural Center of the Book City in Tehran on April 18 and 19, 2016 in the presence of Chinese and Iranian experts of Sa`adi and Confucius.
