Japan to host 2nd Asian Philosophical Texts Conference‎

IBNA- The Japanese city of Chiba-shi will play host to the 2nd Asian Philosophical Texts ‎Conference scheduled for September 9-10 2019. ‎
 
According to IBNA correspondent quoting from Philevents.org, the conference will take place at Reserach Institute for Japanese Studies, Kanda University of International Studies in Chiba-shi and will focus on the topics: Metaphysics and Epistemology; Asian Philosophy; Science, Logic, and Mathematics; Value Theory.

This conference aims at providing a platform for scholars in the field of Asian Studies and world philosophies to both discuss and perform the task of translating Asian philosophical texts into western languages. Any papers on the philosophy of translation, critical analyses of existing translations, or ongoing translation projects are welcomed.

The abstracts should be 300-500 words and the papers must be suitable for a 25–30 minute presentation (no more than 3500 words). They should be sent to Takeshi.Morisato@gmail.com.
