IBNA- Iran’s embassy in Cuba is representing Persian books translated into Spanish at the 27th Havana International Book Fair currently underway in the Cuban capital.
According to IBNA correspondent, the event kicked off on February 1 in the San Carlos of La Cabaña Fortress and will run by February 11.

More than 4 million copies of books by local and foreign publishers have been presented in the fair. China was the guest of honor in this edition of Havana International Book Fair.

The Iranian books displayed at the event are on a variety of subjects including social, religious sciences, cultural, historical and those four children and young adults which have been welcomed by the visitors.

The event is held in 22 sub-venues in parallel to the main venue (at the San Carlos of La Cabaña Fortress), due to its broad academic, artistic and literary program, impossible to assemble people in a single site.

The international book fair is the major event in the Cuban publishing sector and the most agglutinating cultural space in the country.

Conferences, tributes, lectures, readings, launching of books, awarding ceremonies, screenings of film and performing arts exhibitions, displays and concerts, have made up the vast program of the event.
