IBNA- ‘Mistakes Were Made’, the first book from the series of ‘Timmy Failure’ by the ‎American bestseller writer and cartoonist Stephan Pastis has been translated into Persian ‎and released for children.‎
According to IBNA correspondent, the copyright of ‘Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made’ was bought by the Iranian publisher- the children and young adults department of Simay-e Shargh Publishing- and was translated by Maryam Fattahzadeh into Persian.
Stephan Pastis started cartooning as a child; his mother brought him pens and paper to amuse him when he was "sick a lot" and had to stay in bed. Later, he created several comic books including ‘Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made’ which was modeled after the popular ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’ series.

‘Timmy Failure’ follows the exploits of a young soon to be detective and his lazy polar bear friend, Total, as they solve crimes in their local neighborhood, from the case of his friend whose chocolate bars are missed to Timmy’s rivalry with a girl who also claims to be a detective.

The series of ‘Timmy Failure’ debuted at No. 4 on The New York Times Best Seller list for Children's ‎Middle Grade Books.

‘Mistakes Were Made’ has been published in 268 pages and 1100 copies by Simay-e Shargh Publishing which is going to translate and release the second part of the sequel titled ‘Timmy Failure: Now Look What You've Done’ and the third book, ‘Timmy Failure: We Meet Again’ in near future.
