Shi’ite Studies Conference kicks off in Cologne University

IBNA- Concurrent with the 50th anniversary of the founding Special Shi’ite Library in Europe, the Conference of Shi’ite Studies opened in the city of Cologne, Germany.
According to IBNA
correspondent, the two-day conference has been organized in cooperation between the University of Cologne and Iran’s Cultural Attaché to Germany.
The first Special Shi’ite Library in Europe was established by an Iranian researcher of philosophy Abd ol-Javad Falatouri who founded the entity in Cologne as well as the Academy of Islamic Sciences in Germany.
A professor of Islamic studies at the University of Hamburg Katayoun Amirpour and the professorial of philosophy from Tehran’s Allameh Tabatabaei delivered lectures on the subject “Madinat al-Nabi” (the city of Prophet).
The Conference of Shi’ite Studies withdrawn by October 19 and welcomes the interested audiences.
