Iranian illustrator for BIB-UNESCO Workshop introduced ‎

IBNA- Young Iranian illustrator Mohammad-Hossein Matak has been introduced as our ‎country’s representative at the Biennial of Illustration Bratislava (BIB) Workshop to be ‎held in cooperation with UNESCO in October 2019. ‎
According to IBNA correspondent, Iran’s Center for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (ICIDCY), the Council of Children Books and Iranian Association of Illustrators are three institutes which have selected Matak to attend the event.

The workshop has been named after its founder Albin Brunovsky and will be held as a sideline program of BIB to gather the young illustrators under the age of 30 from across the world.
BIB is one of the oldest international honours for children's book illustrators. It is one of the more prestigious children's book awards today, along with Hans Christian Andersen Award.
A member of Iranian Association of Illustrators, the works of Matak have been published in the catalogues of exhibitions in various countries such as Ukraine, Croatia and Singapore.
