Andrey Kurkov’s ‘Grey Bees’ rendered into Persian

IBNA- The novel, ‘The Grey Bees’ by the acclaimed Ukrainian writer Andrey Kurkov has been translated from Russian into Persian by Abtin Golkar and published.
According to IBNA correspondent, ‘The Gray Bees’ which is the latest novel by Kurkov
is centered on the Ukrainian internal conflict over Crimea peninsula, the situation in Donbass grey zone.
The work portrays the lost humanity and the man who is disappointed of everything, except the bees which must walk tall from the war. The novel has been adapted for theatre and will premiere in Kiev in March 2019.
Hailed as the most celebrated Ukrainian writer who emerged after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Kurkov has 23 novels in his career, which have been translated into 37 languages including English, Japanese, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Swedish and Hebrew, and published in 65 countries.
Kurkov has also published 10 books for children, written 10 film scripts, and 2 non-fiction books, the latest published in 2018 is on helping the homeless around the world.
‘The Grey Bees’ in Persian has been released by Ofogh Publishing in Tehran in 464 pages.
