Hegel is an important and influential philosopher in Derrida's opinion. Therefore, he paid particular attention to Hegel's thought and wrote on him. These writings and a critique of them will be released in a Persian book entitled as 'Hegel According to Derrida'.

IBNA: Deconstruction is a key element in Derrida's thought. In almost all his works he makes a deconstructive approach to the reading of great philosophers like Aristotle, Freud and Heidegger.

One of Derrida's favorite philosophers is Hegel and therefore, he spends much of his book 'The Gift of Death' on deconstructive reading or critique of Hegel's philosophy.

'Hegel According to Derrida' is a book co-authored by Mohammad-Mahdi Ardebili and Mahdi Parsa.

"Parsa has had vast studies on Derrida and I am familiar with Hegel's thought and works," Ardebili told IBNA; "Therefore we cooperated in compiling and translating the book while each of us has focused on his own specialty."

He added: "An article by Derrida on Hegel is also included in the book that actually makes its main body. Along with his other writings on Hegel, Derrida's critique has drawn the attention of many philosophers. Our book also contains these writings."

Ardebili stated that the book will be published by Rokhdad-e No after final revisions.
