Iran Book News Agency (IBNA) - Crystal ball exhibition held at Malek Library

Parallel with the birthday anniversary of imam Ali (peace be upon him), an exhibition of traditional astrological gadgets and manuscripts is being held at the National Malek Museum.

IBNA: According to the public relations office of the National Malek Museum, the exhibition has been arranged in accordance with Haj Hussein Malek’s will which required the holding of celebrations on the occasion of imam Ali’s birthday anniversary every year. The exhibition is running today (June 5, 2012) at the library.

Besides, a number of astrolabes and manuscripts about astrology which are being kept at Science and Technology Museum will be showcased in the exhibition.

Moreover, a workshop on learning how to work with astrolabes will also be held on the sidelines of the exhibition with two telescopes installed in the library for participants to observe the sky.
