Several Omani literati will attend the event on the occasion, however, some critics have questioned the participation of Oman as a country which imposes ban on books.   Throughout the theme "writers facing the world", the event invites and honors leading foreign authors. By valuing the presence of invited authors, Livre Paris integrates them into the everyday program. Each year, Livre Paris offers its visitors a number of new exhibitions that highlight the work of an author or illustrator, the heritage of a publishing house or the anniversary of a collection.         ]]> Book Fair Thu, 14 Mar 2019 12:11:54 GMT http://www.ibna.ir/en/doc/tolidi/273214/iran-participates-at-39th-paris-international-book-fair ‎78 Chinese publishers to attend 32nd TIBF http://www.ibna.ir/en/doc/tolidi/273030/78-chinese-publishers-to-attend-32nd-tibf According to IBNA correspondent, Shakeri announced that over 30 programs have been scheduled to be held for China as the guest of honor in the 32nd Tehran International Book Fair on the first 3 days of the event. “By now, 14 countries including China, Japan, Germany, India, South Korea, Syria, Russia, Oman, Serbia, Lebanon, Qatar have confirmed their participation in the book fair and publishers will still be able to register in the event until March 12,” he said.
