Majlis Speaker, Ali Larijani, send a message of condolence over the death of father of Iran’s drama Hamid Samandarian.

IBNA: According to the news agency of Iran’s Islamic Assembly, Larijani sent a message of condolence to the family of Samandarian and the society of artists in Iran.

“Passing away of Iran’s prominent stage artist, master Hamid Samandarian brought us sorrow and regret. I, hereby, share my condolences with the artistic society of Iran and the master’s family, especially his wife,” reads a part of the message.

Samandarian died at the age of 81 on Thursday after a year of battle with liver cancer.
