Martyr Avini Literary Award in Frankfurt
The call, goals and policies of selecting Iran’s “Resistance Book of the Year”( Martyr Avini Literary Award) will be explained in the 64th Frankfurt International Book Fair. The upcoming edition will be held with an international section. IBNA: The managing director of Martyr Avini Literary Award and one of its organizers told IBNA that the award will be introduced in the fair in order to branding and introducing it to foreigners.
Mohammad Hussein Karimipur added: “The 64th Frankfurt International Book Fair will present the aims of Martyr Avini Literary Award as well as its programs and explanations for the world’s literary agencies, publishers and authors.”
The call and the objects of the literary award will be displayed on the board of the award’s pavilion in German, English and French. The 2nd Martyr Avini Literary Award will evaluate resistance related books which are released in Arabic, Urdu, Turkish, French and English, he added.
Martyr Avini Literary Award is an Iranian literary award organized by the Revayat-e Fath Publication Institute and the Marty Avini Institute of Culture and Art. The award is named in honor of Seyyed Morteza Avini, who is considered a martyr in Iran. He was a well known Iranian television news personality who was killed in 1993 by a mine while covering a story about the Iran-Iraq conflict.
