During the session of "Revolutionary literature, children's literature", writers of children and young adult's books talked about the entrance of the revolution's achievements in children and young adult's literature saying that the matter needed reviewing the period's social fields.

IBNA: The session was attended by Mostafa Kharaman, Shahram Shafi'e and Ali Asghar Ezati-pak while Ali-ullah Dabiri was the meeting's secretary.

Firstly Kharaman said:" The revolution was a significant event which is indeed a part of our history; the new generation reads historical books to judge about history and literature books aren’t used for the matter but the revolution and its incidents will last if they will be included in literature."

He added:" Following the war the revolution's books were mostly ignored and war-oriented books were released more. As a matter of fact during the revolution, many authors didn’t exist but following the Islamic Revolution several individuals enters the field of authorship however they needed time to require experience."

He added that The Miserable Ones is an attractive literary story which is about family's adventure while depicting parts of France's history. Unfortunately the revolutionary books in Iran fail to consider social fields, the main factors which introduce the revolution's occurrence for children.

Then Shafi'e added:" The authors should completely know the field and learn its reasons and ideals in order to create an everlasting literary work."

Literature holds a revolutionary nature itself he said and added:" Compilation is a revolution which occurs in the author's mind if such a thing fails to occur all the concepts will change into clichés."

Novels or any other literary genres should take the reader towards perfection and Quran indeed presents great techniques to us, he added.

He went on to say that the Islamic Revolution was a revolution of values. So far the field of Islamic Revolution's literature fails to hold a noted work which I believe is related to the society's anxiety following the Revolution since Iran entered a war immediately. Following the war most of the books were based on the Sacred Defense literature.

The children should learn the revolution via attractive books however most of the written books are historical rather than fictional, he added.
