The secretariat of the 6th Game Avval (first step) Award has received as many as 1,615 works by emerging writers.

IBNA: According to the public relations office of the Book House Institute, 563 works in poetry books, 166 children’s poetry books, 362 fiction works and 159 children’s story books were submitted to the secretariat of the festival.

Moreover, 101 books on ethical issues, 100 books on Quranic sciences, 152 books on theology and 12 biographies of religious figures have been submitted to the secretariat of the festival.

Javad Mohaghegh is the scientific secretary of the festival. 1,760 works were considered by the panel of judges last year.

The closing ceremony of the festival will be held in Golestan Province during fall. The formed edition of the award was held in Sanandaj and praised 18 winners.
