In funeral held today to pay tribute to the late Mohammad Ayoubi, Asadollah Amraei extended his gratitude towards the cultural deputy of guidance ministry, the Book House Institute and Iran's Artists' House for holding the ceremony magnificently.

IBNA: The funeral ceremony was held today morning (Monday, January 11, 2010) before the Artists' House in which Asadollah Amraei said "I was a friend of his and mover parallel with him. He could hear what people had to say and reflected them in his works. He created grand works with is patience." 

"Ayoubi was one of those whose love for their home lands made them stay and bear the hardships of creating permanent works," he added after rehearsing one of the favorite poetry pieces of the late Ayoubi by Jalaledin Homaei. 

He further expressed his thanks to the organizers of the ceremony and stated "I hereby thank the cultural deputy of guidance ministry and the Book House Institute for their support. Moreover, I should thank Iran's Artists' House and all who play a part in arrangement of the ceremony." 

Later in the ceremony, Mahmoud Sadjadi, contemporary poet, delivered a speech in which he recounted on the duration of his friendship with Ayoubi. "Mohammad and I were in the same class at school and we have been friends since then." 

"Previously he published his compositions in Ghandil Magazine under his nom de plume M.Parastou," he added. "He then found his way and began writing and wrote such books as the Burnt South and the Water Work." 

He went on to say that one of his books titled as the Vicious Circle was destroyed because of its derogations towards the then ruling regime in Iran. "He then came to Tehran and professionally began to write." 

Later in the ceremony, Seyyed Hamzeh Mousavipour who used to be one of Ayoudis intimate friends said their friendship had taken some 43 of 44 years. 

"Ayoubi's patience and sorrow manifested itself in his pen. Southern grief was prevalent in his metaphors," he said. 

"He was a peaceful writer. He kept silent and passed over his problems with a smile," he added relatin some of his personality traits. "I hope whoever takes the path of honesty, will be praised by people likewise." 

Mohammad Ayoubi's body was interred this morning (Monday, January 11, 2010) at the artists' section of Tehran's burial ground.
