Hormozgan’s Islamic Guidance and Culture administration announced that daily some 50,000 people visit Bandar Abbas Book Fair. The fair will run till 20th January.

IBNA: Usually provincial fairs are warmly received as the Guidance ministry’s cultural department has presented the books with a 40% discount.

The cultural officials of Hormozgan who hosted the fair since 14th January have expressed gratitude towards the visitors’ numbers.

The other factor which had an influence on the matter was the fair’s location. Last year the fair was held in a parking lot but this time an appropriate location was chosen.

Moreover the Guidance Ministry distributed book tokens as 10$, 20$ and 40$ cards in which 20% discount was offered as well.

Bandar Abbas Book Fair has marked the 158th provincial fair, held following the Islamic Revolution.
